A little gift to help you sleep better
Today I would like to give you a little gift. Quite a few people have recently told me that they struggle to fall asleep, that it may take them a long time to get to sleep: they might as well feel tired but they are tense and their mind is filled with worries and unwanted, intrusive thoughts. Others fall asleep more easily but they wake up during the night, or their sleep is agitated; some realise that they grind their teeth while asleep. I thought it might be helpful to give you a little tool to use before you go to sleep.
I have prepared a recording with my voice. It is a deep relaxation with a specific focus on sleep and it can help you get to sleep more quickly, but it will also help you to be more calm, to let go of any tensions and to fall into a deeper, peaceful sleep.
You may perceive the benefits of the relaxation straight away. However for you to get the most out of it, I would suggest that you listen to it every night for as long as you want. Consistency will help you build up a relaxed state before you go to bed. You can listen to it while you are already in bed, laying down in a comfortable position, so that you are ready to get to sleep. If you fall asleep during the track, that’s absolutely fine.
